They are a creative respite combined with immersive and productive programming that helps first-time and seasoned authors overcome the energy, time, and money barriers that block them from getting that book they are thinking about out into the world. Authors in The Wild™ trips take a mindful, multi-faceted approach to non-fiction book authorship. It takes guts to be an author. Nature shows you what you are made of–from the inside out. We work alongside you to build your book and harness human intelligence (HI) that inspires your best work through book development, strategic planning, and outdoor adventure.
We curate small groups of authors who love a worthy challenge and work privately with authors looking to work 1:1 with Stephanie. Everything from the length of the trip to the location, food, and outdoor adventures are personalized to complement our guest authors. Authors are provided a full package that includes private sessions before and after the trip.

No online forms to fill out. We want to know more about who you are, your passions, talents, and expertise, the book you want to write, and the impact you want to make with your message. There must be a strong, mutual sense that this work is a good fit for you and us. That is the foundation for a strong collaboration.
We work with you privately or place you in a small group based on your needs and preferences. We offer seasonal immersion trips in various stunning destinations with space limited to up to three authors per trip to provide the service and attention to detail you deserve. There's nothing we can't customize.
Agreements and Non-Disclosures for full privacy are signed, and accommodations and arrangements are made and booked. Your adventure begins with private online narrative sessions and a group session one month before your trip.

We select lodging based on author preferences and seasonality. The properties we choose are suited to inspire creativity by providing extreme comfort, gorgeous natural surroundings, and sensory stimulation. Every location accommodates a blend of solitude and connection to support a fully immersive experience that meets every author's needs.
